In the case of Stansted, it could be the Aircraft Museum at Duxford just outside Cambridge, or if you have a little more time, perhaps you would like to wander through that beautiful city, host to one of the world's oldest universities.

And, of course, it could be that you merely want to get away from the crowded confines of the airport, and be whisked off to a lovely riverside or country pub for a relaxed drink and meal.
